Welcome to our new morning feature where we rip off “the best” of the internet and present it to you as a precious gift-post, topped with a bow we bought pre-tied from CVS and attached with an adhesive strip, ready to go and be consumed with your first coffee/tea/quickie of the day. Some of it is (kinda) solid advice, but if you’re a future intern, and (already) reading BYT upon your arrival, you’ve probably made all the right mistakes by now.

• In the meantime, in New York, say hello to London through the giant Telectroscope located at the Fulton Ferry Landing by the Brooklyn Bridge. Better than a webcam. Maybe. Via Coolhunter which I can only check once a month because it reminds me that I don’t live that life.

• Flavor tripping parties! In Arlington! Fruit finally has its day.Even if that day seemed to have happened a year a go already.

• Woxy busted out their new “500 Modern Songs on The Planet” list over the weekend.Even if you pretend not to care, you will look. Radio Free Press Europe @ 5? And Nirvana @ 8? See? YOU LOOKED!
