Junior League West Coast Tour Diary: Portland

Junior League West Coast Tour Diary: Portland

November 9, 2007 by Svetlana Send to a Friend Send to a Friend

Junior League, our favorite DC bluegrassy band continues bravely touring the west coast, and sending us videos along the way

The plan is: Lissy Rosemont and her boys (check out our listening party with them here) will go everywhere from LA all the way up to Seattle, wave a Zac Ephron flag at whoever will look at it, interview some people and send a perfect 4 minute tidbit from each locale, that they will edit while in their tour van:

Monday it was Los Angeles
Tuesday they were in the Bay Area
Wednesday Olympia
Yesterday Seattle and today
Portland

with, as always a note from Lissy:

We joined forces with our old buddy Phillip Saylor Wisor, or rather he found himself onto our bill:) But we pulled him up on stage
for old times sake. We had a nice hearty crowd due to a few friends intense campaigning. It was greeeaat. Sit down rooms are always weird, but they were a boisterous (sp?) crowd. tired, numb, happy, brrrr, silly.
is it gross I have been wearing the same dress for 5 days straight?
Can’t edit it out. And that I bought it at the SF flea market and haven’t washed it? Not compared to Rob’s nappy feet!!! I digress
