Since I have tomorrow off, today is technically Friday. Which means that you get all of this weekend’s fashion happenings a day early. So dig in, enjoy and spend lots.
Thursday, September 11 - Sunday, September 14
National Jean Company Grand Opening – Reston Town Center
National Jean Company is celebrating its newest location in the Reston Town Center with 20% off all full-priced items at both the Reston and Bethesda locations. They’re also hosting a J Brand trunk show this weekend.
Saturday, September 13
The Corcoran Gallery of Art is unveiling its Richard Avedon photography exhibit. Though the legendary photographer is famous for his fashion work, this show will be focusing on his political portraits.
Sunday, September 14
Adam’s Morgan Day (also known as yet another reason to drink all day on a Sunday) is back. The annual event runs from noon-7pm. with lots of vendors selling clothing, jewelry, art, and more. Make sure to work your way down to the vintage store Meeps, who always has a great sale during the festival.
If you’re too lazy to leave the house this weekend, no worries. Do some online shopping at Unsung Designers, an online boutique featuring emerging indie designers from around the world.
Also if anyone went to the District Sample Sale this past week, go ahead and chime in and let me know how it was.
‘Til next week…
