I probably shouldn’t be allowed to get dressed for work alone in the morning. The other day my coworker asked me if I was wearing a bathing suit under my top. Then later that day while sitting outside and eating some Mr. Yogato my friend looked at me and said, “Wait, did you wear that to work?” Don’t even get me started on what I am wearing today. Let’s just say that the shirt has a skull wearing a wreath of roses on it and leave it at that.

Here is the deal… it is hot outside.
REALLY hot outside.
So hot that it would probably just be easier to not wear any clothes at all.

But that would be taking work appropriate to a whole new level. And be kind of creepy. Thankfully, I work at an office that doesn’t require me to wear a suit, or a button-down, or anything binding. But word on the street is that not everyone is so lucky.
So for all of my girls (sorry guys, I’ve got nothing for you today. But I feel for you, men’s suits look pretty effing miserable), I have a solution. Check out the Rochelle Behrens Collection. She’s a new, young, D.C.-based designer who specializes in making blouses that don’t do the evil “gape”, or as she puts it, “that see-straight-through-to-the-bra phenomenon that occurs between the buttons on so many women’s shirts.” And she is having a sample sale on Wednesday, July 30 over on Vermont Ave.

And for all of you guys… if it’s between wearing a suit or going naked, just go naked. I dare you!

A co-worker just emailed this link to me. I’m trying to determine what that means…but I did wear my swimsuit under my dress today. Because I was going swimming after work…it’s just practical.
