During Paris Fashion Week, my favorite blogger, Tommy Ton, of Jak & Jill tweets, "I received some news tonight that is going to SHAKE the fashion world in the next two days. CRAZY!!!!” Then, “I can't tell. I swore I'd zip the lip but I'll tell you my mouth nearly dropped to the ground when the news was whispered into my ear.” Grazia and many others say they know what's up: Lanvin's Alber Elbaz is Karl Lagerfeld's successor at Chanel. [UPDATE] Today (3/15), Fashionologie says Chanel has denied the rumor stating that "replacing him is not an issue," and Ton tweets: "You think u know but u have NO idea.
