One thing is sure about the summer: people sure love to throw cocktail parties during them.
So, this Tuesday, G-star Raw on Connecticut and R had a little seasonal banger with the following key ingredients:
-live mannequins in windows,
-delicious melon balls with prosciutto and these little quiche type things on trays,
-lots of amazing looking jeans which due to oppressive heat we did not even think of trying on (but we want to)
-peroni
-champagne
-this scarily delicious ginger peach Purus vodka with ginger lemonade cocktails (we love you bartender girl! we do)
-lots of hand holding
and
everyone from Dissident Display to Design Cult boys and plenty of well dressed girls in attendance.
Lexie was in photo heaven.
It’s more diverse than a Benneton ad!

June 12, 2008 at 11:53 amHow is the DC G-Star? Haven’t had a chance to stop in yet.
June 12, 2008 at 12:31 pmIt’s good, I’ve spent about $1500 there already (3 items)
June 12, 2008 at 12:33 pmAba Kwawu does it again! Always the flyest crowd
to celebrate DC’s good times and stylish development.
Nice work professor…see you at the next one!!
Cale - you spent? Or you promised your CC company that you would reimburse them for spotting you?
Also: $1500 for three items? Only if those three items were a hot mom and her twin bisex daughters.
June 12, 2008 at 12:42 pmActually I used my debit not credit. Better rewards.
And I was just joshing, it was more than 3 items. It was like 9. Still, the shit there is ridiculously expensive, but they are one of the few places that carry stuff for really ridiculously skinny guys, so it’s worth it (for me).
June 12, 2008 at 12:53 pmthe IT world is still treating SOMEone alright, i see.
June 12, 2008 at 1:15 pmWhatever, I make all my money from those Art-O-Matic ads.
June 12, 2008 at 1:21 pmDon’t front, Cale, we all know you’re a construction foreman.
June 12, 2008 at 1:52 pmFunny, the place was hot as hell, but I think everyone can agree it was a wonderful event. A few people we’re able to have fun with playing fashion show in the back. I would love to see another one happen around the area. Oh, and Cale you still looked excellent in those tight pants. Look me up everyone cause I’m going big in this fashion industry.
