A year after all of fashion world in DC convened to celebrate the launch of FW, Washington Post's glossy style quarterly, all of fashion world in DC re-convened to celebrate it's one year anniversary.
This time around, the celebration was at Masa 14, 14th street newest restaurant/bar/small plate edition (which Alex very kindly previewed for us last week) and brought in Scott Schuman, aka the Sartorialist, to meet/greet/sign his book for the adoring fanbase which created lines in front of the restaurant like I've not seen since that secret Beck show at the Cat backstage.
The food was great, the cocktails (mojitos and vodka strawberry lemonades) potent enough for the cold night and the crowd was the usual "spot the blogger/pr/designer/dj" scene (+ BYT interns and photographers which will make their way into anything these days, that's how savvy they've become), so lets count all (the ones we can remember):
Betsy Lowther, of Fashion is Spinach and FW wore the dress I am stealing from her for next time, The District Dish was represented by Kate Michael and Ebong Eka, Rachel Cothran from Project Beltway did double duty for both PB and Corcoran (Kristin Guiter was also there, as amazing looking as ever with Eric Brewer and Adrian Loving of Dissident Display, both as sharp looking as ever (bonus points for Eric's ascot matching Kristin's dress in tone almost perfectly), Jenny from Capitol Hill Barbie and Shana from DC Concierge both said Hi, and we also spotted Justin from ReadySetDC, Victoria Michael of Victoria Michael PR, Greg of Greg's List, Glamazon Diaries girls and a whole slew of adorable Sartorialist fans that Shauna snapped up, both in line outside and in line for the book.
Plus, shameless Bentzen Ball promo all night. Naturally.
Enjoy the photos now, that's why you clicked on this link in the first place, right?
God loves a cheerful giver.

I love the shot of our shoes! I guess great minds think alike... though I didn't know whether to be excited or dismayed when I showed up and saw Jenna wearing similar foot adornment. This photograph makes me very glad indeed. Thanks for the animal skin tribute

This is an extravagantly one-too-chic book party. The fine drinks and finger-foods look nearly as scrumptious as the crowd! Of course, in true Sart spirit, everyone looks like they've leapt straight from the digital pages of our strapping semi-celeb's website. Modern assemblages of scarves and blouses among hints of couture cuts, accompanied with the perfect drink accessory... Anyone catch the girl in fur trim? Catch me as I swoon.
Feelin' the love... Thanks for yet another showcase of fabulosity!!! xoxo
