Richard Chai’s Spring 2010 Love collection – a manifestation of his own women’s main line in a more digestible, contemporary price range – is as easy and wearable as it is interesting and enjoyable. Chai combined painterly silk prints and solids with all-american plaids from his mens collection and the occasional glimmer of beading to create breezy, comfy-cool classics for the intelligent downtown girl. The show was edited down to create cohesive looks in an easy-to read format; the most outstanding looks were those that layered surprising separates and manifested a chic, sun-kissed look that was a little grungy and rumpled around the edges. Chai’s wares spin classic garments into a whole new stratosphere with truly innovative seaming, intelligent silhouettes, and flattering cuts. All in all, the collection was triumphant – with a thank-god price tag.

These are very artistic…great! :)
