Vena Cava kicked off fashion week on a high note with their Fall 2010 runway show Thursday at Milk. The collection is filled with covetable, wearable, cool looks that are edgy, ladylike 70s-tinged takes on fall dressing. There were the perfect prints that we've come to expect from Lisa and Sophie along with delicious wooly capes and CDC gowns that I can't wait to purchase come Fall. As though I need any more Vena Cava in my closet. Coco Rocha surprised us backstage, the adorable girls of The Like played, and The Fiery Furnaces' Eleanor Friedberger sat front row. I hung out backstage with some of my favorite ladies in the fashion industry and snapped some pics...

God loves a cheerful giver.
