It’s that time of year again. The District Sample Sale is back. I have never actually been, but I have borrowed clothes from friends who have. And all their stuff was cute. And apparently came at a good discount. So if you’re tired of everything in your closet and ready to stock up on some solid Fall items (plus end of season styles at uber-cheap prices), this is the place to do it.
What: District Sample Sale
When: Tuesday, September 9, 6:30 - 9:30pm (VIP hour from 5:30 - 6:30pm)
Where: The Galleria at Lafayette Centre. 1155 21st Street, NW
Why: 100% of the profits will go to the DC Rape Crisis Center
Cost: $40 per ticket. VIP tickets are $125. And if you are really cool (or flush), you can score a Benefactress ticket for $250.

i’m normal sized and i have snagged some good stuff there before! i will say this though– the fall 2007 DSS was about a million times better than the spring 2008 one. i hope that just means that the fall one is better overall, not that the DSS is going downhill.

if only they had clothes for normal sized people. but i guess that would escape the point.
