In fact we spent a good two weeks stalking them in hopes of getting them to come play the relaunch fiesta (them and Santogold, but hey, there’s always next year! or the Virgin festival! or both!) and were ready to sell kidneys, carry babies inside of ourselves and whatever else it took to pay for even 30 minutes of the joy that that would have been.
It didn’t pan out but as a consolation prize their new video for “Fancy Footwork” landed in our inboxes today.
And it is everything you dreamt it would be.
and because you may want to dance on top of your couch for 3 extra minutes, here is “Bonafied lovin’” too.
These guys were not very good at Coachella, sadly. Simian Mobile Disco went on stage before them, and tore it up. When Chromeo came out, the crowd was pretty lifeless.
May 6, 2008 at 1:03 pmI saw them last july in Philly at the TLA (i think) like, right before the Chromeomania swept thro. Only time i’ve been lucky enough to catch them tho.
I thougth they were pretty decent. Everyone was dancing, and they sounded pretty good live. However, they played needy girl during the set AND for the encore. they were super cute tho, had some dancin, especially during “mama’s boy”
