Essa (pronounced Ee-sa), an Indian designer by way of Dubai, was hosted as part of a trunk show put on by Micky Farivar of DC's Peacock Cafe at the Ted Gibson Salon and Hela Spa in Chevy Chase, MD, this past Saturday night. His garments feature rich color and middle eastern inspired fashion sensibilities marked by flowing dresses and intricate embroidered designs.
The show itself featured a runway walk by a host of models including Ms. Farivar herself, Makeda Saggau-Sackey of the Glamazon Diaries, and Katherine Kennedy and Krista Johnson of Blonde Charity Mafia fame.

DC has a shortage of hot chicks, and the charity mafia chicks are prime example. they just really aren't that hot at all. the chicks in these pictures are atrocious.

i think hot chick was impossibly rude to Party Dude, too. Chicks on the pics I wouldn't call 'atrocious' but most do look overdone and bland. And not only chix. That indian's wearing a pair of galoshes is downright lame.
