It has been a year for R’N'R hotel. So, to celebrate, they threw down a throw down party this Saturday.
Things I remember through the blur of blood, sweat and sequins:
The cake was delicious, the champagne and whiskey was flowing and Andrew WK is a goddamn party starter if I ever saw one.
(his appeal best summed up in this quote by one of our readers: Guys have strip clubs. Girls have non-threatening, luxuriously haired, dorky pretty boys in tight pants that dance like maniacs. He gives me a clit boner…)
Whips, Points, Earl Greyhound and The Big Sleep also played, and played loudly and awesomely (side note: can someone please bully Matt Berger into Whips playing more than 2 shows a year? We want and need that. Thank you.), the PowWow ladies held down the dj fort downstairs and Chris Burns did his Disco City proud upstairs.
