‘Tis the season for stylish parties. While the “White Hot” party at Bob Williams+Mitchell Gold amazing furniture salon on 14th street could have easily slipped into the “P.Diddy in the Hamptons gone horribly wrong” category, somehow it felt just right.
Haley and I arrived from work, so we were, at least in my case, in my case “white, hot AND wrinkled” (linen-it does not travel well for 10 hours) but we walked in (through the WHITE carpet, of course) and were handed two white chocolate martinis within seconds, led to a white chocolate fountain, accosted by a sea of very well groomed people (who were decidedly NON wrinkled) and confronted with the miracle that is Lady Bunny, 6′5″ in heels, 7′0″ with bee hive, wearing the shortest skirt this side of “Party Monster”, the biggest rings since J.Lo’s 3rd failed engagement and spinning what can only be described as “The best of 80s gay(est) NY Disco”.
By the time I had my 2nd mini white cupcake, and wanted to steal every shoe and bag that crossed my path, LB busted out “Heaven only knows” by the one and only Gloria Estefan and I was IN HEAVEN.
And then some.

And although my job is to play music, I happily pose for pix with anyone who asks–why else would the company hire a big ol’ drag queen? Occasionally, someone will ask me for a pic while I’m in the process of cueing up the next cd and I’ll put my finger up to indicate HOLD ON ONE SEC. Denise sounds like she deserved a different finger. I don’t know what manner of troll Denise is, but if I’m so nasty and look so horrible, why did she want a pic in the first place, you cyber-bitch? You’re obviously just a lying-ass party pooper! And too ignorant to know not to capitalize drag queen.
