I wish I could say I KNEW this would turn into what it turned, but in all honesty, I just sort of hoped people would come, laugh a little, have a classy cocktail and leave.
I mean, I really had to work on even getting a photographer to this.
BUT
Trace showed up on time.
Jason was at the top of his game.
The show was hilarious.
(more about it here)
The crowd was the right kind of serious and seriously unserious.
The music, by Ian, was true “dance with a partner” fun.
People were really well dressed
and no one seeemed to notice it was a Tuesday.
Until it wasn’t Tuesday any more and I had to wake up 4 hours later.

How old is Trace? I’d say I want to be him when I grow up but he’s probably younger than me. In any event, he’s a smashing good bloke and clearly a great kisser.
August 22, 2008 at 1:53 pmso much more entertaining watching “adults” be ridiculous than watching 17 year olds be ridiculous.
