I will be the first one to admit that I was MORTIFIED at the idea of a rave camp. I mean, I grew up in Eastern Europe and as timing would have it, I was definitely a teenager in the 1990s, had a little orange and black vinyl backpack, short, short, highlighted hair that I had a lot of colorful flower pins in and definitely did not come home till 6am on Sundays too busy destroying my shiny plastic maryjanes to music we were now supposedly going to play during the daytime, at a pool? Give me a break. There was no way this was going to work.
BUT IT WORKED OUT AMAZINGLY.
1039 OF YOU SHOWED UP, for one, making this the biggest Summer Camp yet (and that is saying something)
And 1037 of you wore beads, danced, stayed the duration, took turns wearing those pink bunny ears Tito brought, got covered in pixie stick dust during limbo, hugged each other a lot and danced with our gold buddah.
Imagine if we were able to get that inflatable obstacle course in too, I mean, sky would have been the limit.
