Before
I’m looking forward to this. The name alone: Treasure Fingers. Sticks to the brain, and it’s simultaneously childish and succinct. A killer of two birds. And to think that before early May when Scotbot was talking up the coup of booking the ATL dj/producer for tonight’s party, I was aware of neither name nor dude. Actually, now that I think of it, the name came up back in February when I came across this 30 minute micromix he did Xclusivley for XM Radio (that’s preceded by this kooky juxt-up between Gavin Holland and Def Leppard).
What I’m hoping for tonight, after I get my hands on that ‘roided out Sapporo bottle, is to sink deep into some of TF’s sublime major-key fever. I’m hoping for atmosphere thick enough to butter your fist with (what?). I want to regret my one-year vow of weedstinence. I already do, but … you shmell me, joe.

Scott, Houston, Illy, sympathy beers, breakups and not-so broken hearts, spanish polacks, Huggy in the same shirt, the sudden convergence of some of DC’s baddest disc jockeys, trying to figure out which Saporro was mine, the booty dance contest (Liz you was robbed) and Illy trying to make like it was my idea this time (son …), maybe not buttery but a nipple nonetheless … and at work now, wearing a sweaty headache, and barely able to wait for next month’s go-round.
Had quite a hangover this morning! But it was well worth it
