There's a new heavy on the beer-block DC. In the event that you're not aware of ChurchKey, you probably aren't a gigantic beer-dork (which is a good thing, trust me), either that or you're not friends with a cadre of them (which I, not so unfortunately, am).
BYT, loving all things awesome in DC, loves Flying Dog ales. So when we heard that Flying Dog was to host an event at ChurchKey, DC's newest hot-to-trot beer restaurant on 14th street, we had to cover it. As it turned out, the event was to help promote a new book, The Naked Pint by Christina Perozzi and Hallie Beaune, a guide to craft beer brought to you through the eyes and words of two females, craft beer being an overwhelmingly male enterprise. Go figure...
I am pleased to report that the food I sampled (mostly pizza-ish) was delish, and the beer tasted, crisp and cool. ChurchKey was great... now let's all look forward to a more formal BYT intro at a later date, one is certainly in order (says the editorial board).

God loves a cheerful giver.

Man, I told you not to post those photos of me and the food. Don't you know what that does to my body image?
Best place to drink in the city. I hope it doesn't get swarmed by nova-ites a la marvin.
correction: best place to drink in the city if you show up in non-happy hours. otherwise it is so swarmed.
i took my dad there last week at 4pm (just as they open) and we had the best time tasting all the 4ozs of malts and dark ambers
Look how cool beer is!
A line outside to get into a beer bar? Amazingly awesome!(If you know the secret password to surpass the line, that is)
5 casks of real ale?
Me loves IT & Raging Bitch.
I see Jeff is finally dealing with girls his own age.
