Last month, DC promoters Shea Van Horn, Bil Todd, and Karl Jones set a new bar for raunchy gay parties in our nation's Capital when they launched their new night, RAW. They came in planning poppers, porn, and unscrewed light bulbs, and they mostly delivered: we called our review of the night "Gays Behaving Badly." This month, unsatisfied with their previous level of depravity, they decided to up the ante. When Shea told me I should expect hardcore porn on the monitors, I didn't quite believe him. But there is was: ten televisions showing some of the craziest porn from the '70s that has ever been shown in a DC bar.
And there, in the back corner, were leather daddies, standing with harnesses wrapped around their bearish physiques, dancing with the sorts of twinks and young professionals that usually grace the terrace at Nellie's or the back room at Town. Also, there was a guy in an English riding helmet, with a leather crop. Did I mention that the gays were giving it up like cheerleaders on prom night? The house was packed, the drinks were strong, and the boys were frisky - another victory for Shea, Bil, and Karl.
Want more? Check out the boys of RAW tonight at Wonderland, where they'll join Gavin Holland for a C.U.N.T. to remember.
God loves a cheerful giver.

I so wish I was in town for this.
DC Gay bars used to all show gay porn and have poppers, and back rooms, and all kinds of shit, Its about time they let their inhibitions back down and stopped trying to prance around lip synching to Britney. Viva 80's styles depravity.
Cale?

j/k
Oh, my god. Ryan would be flattered to be confused with Cale.
Man, gays have all the fun.
YOU THINK THAT'S RAW? YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THE MONTHLY FETISH PARTY @ MOTLEY BAR, "CODE" IS WHERE IT'S AT!
@The Chaser: I agree.
From what I've heard, CODE is pretty off the hook when it comes to getting nasty. I definitely encourage anyone who comes to RAW to also check out CODE.
I just signed on to DJ the next CODE party on Saturday, January 2 at EFN. See you there I hope.
