We certainly love Middle Distance Runner. No shame in that. We’ve featured them, we’ve had them play our relaunch parties, we covered every other show they played in DC, they’ve cooked for us on more than one occasion, posted the videos and given things away, not to mention we’ve all had many beers together and so when they approached us to do something before their State Theatre show tonight (with New Rock Church of Fire & Drink up Buttercup!) we said: SURE! BUT WHAT IS THERE LEFT TO SAY?!
Well, it turns out that they’ve been busy working on the new full length (which will be out this fall) and have been busily placing some of the songs everywhere from Disney trailers to HBO videos to Harley Davidson commercials.
Plus, apparently they were a Billboard feature last week.
Good job kids.
