There is approximately 85 versions of this song (from the Righteous Brothers to Dionne Warwick to Hall & Oates-everyone has had their way with it) but I am partial to the Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood version of it.
Now, for some reason the only video youtube has of them involves “Some velvet morning” so I had to go with Lee duking it out Siw Malmkvist on the 1968 Swedish TV special Love And Other Crimes, which is fine because it is Lee’s growl when he says “You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss those lips” that makes it all worth it. Plus, Siw’s white fur hat is an instant classic.
