And once again, here's your latest dose of THE Hysteria!
CANDY LAND, A NIGHT OF DANCE FLOOR CONFECTION @ LITTLE MISS WHISKEY'S

Meistro and Deep Sang, the Dirty Bombs crew, are easily the most respected of underground DJs in the city. Steve Starks and Nacey of the Nouveau Riche crew are easily the most respected of underground DJs in the city. In a dream lineup for the particulars involved, a throwdown involving the best of hip hop, electro, dubstep, funk, global and crunk anthems will occur. This is easily one of the must see lineups of 2009. The Atlas District's Little Miss Whiskey's following up the amazing Dave Nada vs. Orlando Villegas evening a month and a half ago with this winner is not so quietly starting an ascenscion towards being a premium venue for the growing DC EDM universe.
KLEVER AND KARTAL TAKE OVER 24!

Both Klever and Felix Cartal make returns to DC this Friday at Club 24, rapidly becoming the city's most important bass outpost. This crowd may be the most responsive to the soulful electro and hip hop of Klever, and wildly abraive noise and pound of Kartal. With a breaking and popping contest as well, this certainly looks like a fantastic evening for sure.
TAXLO RETURNS TO BMORE WITH PINK SKULL!

Playing in support of their new Endless Bummer album, Philly disco pop veterans Pink Skull join alongside Cullen Stalin and Simon Phoenix for an evening that, as always, will be truly exciting. Sonar has some big things coming as well with the free TaxLo Xmas Party and the Baltimore Bass Connection's Chopped and Scrooged Holiday party as well, the latter featuring a lineup that includes Dave Nada, The Death Set, Amanda Blank, DJ Blu Jemz and a ton of my other personal faves.
HOT CONTENT
We're heavy on the club music tip this week with some fantastic new releases. But before we get to that, I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Darude before his absolutely fantastic two hour set at Ibiza two weeks ago.
Check this footage from his March set at Ibiza!

James Nasty may be the most prolific club DJ in ALL of Baltimore right now. In his own words, he makes "music for girls to get freaky to, and for dudes to grind up on them." He's dropped three new tracks, and as an early Christmas gift, do enjoy.
That Birthday Track - James takes a sample of Fatman Scoop to all of the places DJ Class' "Dance Like a Freak" remix didn't. Classic club banger.
Let Me C What U Got - Remember the Splack Pack? A most ideal song for club music.
Somebody Gon Get Pregnant - Ninjasonik's DJ Teenwolf is an avowed fan of club music. "Pregnant," is as much a downtempo club banger than anything, so with a handclap sample from Fats Domino's "I'm Walkin'," he takes this one deeper into the club than ever before.
DJ Sega, Philly's Mad Decent signed, self proclaimed "Club King," freaks "Carol of the Bells." You're welcome. He also freaked Taylor Swift's "You Belong to Me" in a way that only MTV could be okay with. It's exactly what you think it is, only better.
And in final, big props to DJ Booman for taking everyone's favorite scene from Full Metal Jacket, and making a classic club fight song out of it. Props as well to DJ Excel on this amazing video clip for it, too. Presenting, "Warface."
