Ted Leo NOT Cancelled - Stop Weeping Kids

Ted Leo NOT Cancelled - Stop Weeping Kids

For those of you who might peruse the mighty environs of Pitchfork now and again (or Ted’s very own site), you were likely met full force with a tsunami of disappointment today when you saw that our very own Ted Leo had cancelled all of the dates for his upcoming tour. Even a homecoming gig in the intimate setting (and sure to be packed as it is long since sold out) of the Black Cat backstage had an unpleasant line drawn through it.

Certainly we are all sympathetic to the reasons behind Ted’s slew of cancellations but that doesn’t mean we weren’t looking forward to pressing our hipster bodies against one another in tight formation while he rocked us solo style. Well cats and kittens - I come bearing good news. After checking with the Black Cat, it looks like the show in DC might have been erroneously included in the “cancelled” pile. As of now, the show is still on!!!!

The fine folks down 14th Street has assured us that they will post a notice if the show’s status does indeed change but currently they (as well as you my little dumpling) are looking forward to hearing some skinny white man’s indie rock on December 13th.

To witness the power of byt you can now note that the Pitchfork news items stands corrected. I bid you a good day sir. I said “good day!”
