My best friends are in a band called New Rock Church of Fire; last weekend I tagged along as MERCH SUPPORT while Trae Lamond, Mitchell West, and Floyd York played shows in NY, RVA, and Harrisonburg Virginia. Since I'm a total girl I took upwards of 500 photos, 13 videos, and about a million notes (scrawled, in various states of legibility, in my notebook, on cocktail napkins, and all up in my phone) and came home to make sense of it all, scrapbook-style. If the following is not enough New Rock Church of Fire for you (and, as you may already know, one can never have too much), you are personally and cordially invited to see them this Friday night, May 1, at the Panda Head Magazine Issue 4 Preview Party at Comet Ping Pong. Besides the Panda Mag festivities (which include short film and video screenings from the upcoming issue), NRCOF will play AND premiere the BRAND NEW MUSIC VIDEO for their song, "The Sword." Be there or be square. Or at least be wishing that you, too, had spent 20 hours in the car with them:

John Powers is a closet Barry Manilow fan.
Where do I get Rap Snacks?
JOHN POWERS IS A PROUD BARRY MANILOW FAN, YOU FUCKING JERK. KEEP JUDGING, TIMMY. SEE WHERE THAT GETS YOU, FUCKER.
I thouroughly enjoy rap snacks and they can be found on georgia avenue in most bodega type places including the murrays.
get 'em for all the bbq's you go to this summer. Too bad they haven't kept up with marketing trends. has romeo done anything in the last five years?
those are my broke red shoes but not my feet. that - and the other strewn about footwear - leads me to believe this picture was taken post public clothing exchange.....
yahtzee!
Wonderful!! Reminds me of my younger years with Patch and the Zanies . Oh, except we use to do drugs.
Peace, papi

I'm amazed that you think killing someone over an xbox is "Awesome"
No wonder the world hates America.
Your a bunch of savages.
Neil, it's not killing over a thing, it's killing for the lack of respect for personal property and space.
And it's ridding society of a dude who has been arrested 29 previous times.
It's really awesome, too bad he didn't decapitate him because that would be awesome X 37.
It's remarkable that gays can sing songs and not be lynched thereafter. Not too sound homophobic though. Go Miley!
