Beach House, Cass McCombs, and Viking Moses provided the entertainment this past Sunday night at the Paper Kingdom book release party! Paper Kingdom is a new book from Elena Johnston and includes over 150 show posters from shows in Baltimore featuring Baltimore local bands from 1993-2008. The book contains poster art from over 40 Baltimore artists, interviews with local bands, post typography, and more.
The release party was held at Creative Alliance at The Patterson in Baltimore. The art exhibit in the lobby displayed several original show posters and the intimate stage was beautifully decorated with colorful lanterns.
