White Rabbits play DC fairly often and for good reason-DC loves them. Tomorrow night, they're bringing their 2 drum sets, 3 mics, tambourines, keyboards and six band members back to RNR Hotel for a night of well controlled chaos.
Here are some tracks from their stand-out album "It's Frightening" to get your blood flowing:

RUDIE FAILS
I really love this song. We really wanted to get away from the sugary stuff that a lot of bands seem to be doing the past couple of years. Life is not all bad,but it definitely not all good. I think this song personifies that. If you don't want to kiss or punch someone or both after listening to this then we probably...have different opinions.
LIONESSE
This track on the album is almost 100% the demo version. We tried to re-record some of the parts for this and other songs but they just weren't sounding right in some cases. So we would use the demo version in a lot of instances for certain drum and piano sounds that we felt we had got right and built off that. Which was really great to work with a producer that is only worried about what works best for the song and not so much in having people try to recreate a great sounding take.
COMPANY I KEEP
We demoed the entire album pretty in depth before we went into the studio and this was one of the recordings that we did where I could still listen to the demo version and think it sounds good.
This was a song we really wanted to test out a lot of ideas and focus on dynamics more than just pounding away. The outro on the song had been there since the demo version and was really exciting to listen to after we got it all together. Actually,I'm going to listen to it know.
