An Horse is Kate Cooper (vocals and guitar) and Damon Cox (drums). The duo hails from Brisbane, Australia, and has opened for acts like Tegan and Sara and Death Cab for Cutie. Here are three of their songs for
your listening pleasure, one of which ('Camp Out') they performed live on Letterman. You can also check them out here and here.

“Postcards” is the first song damon and I wrote together. It clicked so quickly. I have a collection of really old postcards from my home town. Some have been written on and sent. They make me sad. They are really beautiful. I wonder where all the postcards I send end up sometimes.
“Camp Out” - hmmm I don't really even remember when I wrote this. I think it was in my bedroom really early one morning. It's about being hopeful about someone even when you kinda know it's hopeless.
“Horizons” - was one of the last songs we wrote for rearrange beds. I guess I was feeling lousy but everyone was telling me I was doing really well and this in turn made me feel worse! Ha!

God loves a cheerful giver.
I love these guys. Rearrange Beds is one of the best albums of 2009. I wished I still lived in DC so I can go to the show.
