Here is Libby to talk about the band Love Language:
The Love Language is the best band you've never heard of. The first time I heard the song Lalita, below, I was in a car full of my best friends and my best dog, driving past cornfields set blaze orange in the setting sun en route to Bethany Beach. Needless to say we put the song on repeat until the sky was dark.... Sorry to wax and wane romantic, but I'm going to freak the fuck out when I hear this on Tuesday night- hands up in the air, sing-screaming, possibly with drunken tears of joy streaming down my face... a beautiful sight for all.
Oh yeah Libby? Well I think upstate NY's The Mathematicians are the best band you've never heard of. I first saw them at the living room of the old Dragon House in Arlington. I thought to myself, this band is gonna go places. Then I saw them again in the living room of the old Dragon House in Arlington and thought to myself, this band is gonna go places. Then I saw them in the living room of Kansas House in Arlington, and thought, god dammit, BYT must book these guys at our next big event so they can "go places". I mean look at the epic rock power:
No really, look how hard they are feeling it:
Their “gimmick” works; nerd costumes, rapping about math, etc., because the underlying songwriting is so solid. I cannot recommend seeing this band live enough. In fact, I can’t think of any other band you should make the effort to see more.

I must say this is my first comment that I've ever posted on anything, but it's necessary because I feel that whomever posted the blog about The Mathematicians is horribly wrong. Coming from a ex-math major, honestly, the mathematicians are horrible. If I was 15, I would maybe think they are cute at most. The Love Language are the best band you've never heard of. I've seen this band probably seven times, and they get better each time. No gimmicks, no drummer doing stupid things in your face; just a band playing amazing music and having a great time doing so.
Shut up nerd.
