Grammys: The Winning (Performance) Digest

Grammys: The Winning (Performance) Digest

February 9, 2009 by Svetlana

It happened last night. I, personally, have not been able to manage to get myself to watch the Grammies in years now (others have no such problems so if you’re in the mood for some liveblogging/twittering action-adventure look no further than here) but I definitely seek out all the (early, shitty quality) youtube videos the next morning and the winner list, because while I pretend I am strong I am only human too:

So, Chris Brown arrest aside, they seemed to have had a pretty sweet night out last night.
Check this out:

Radiohead and the USC Marching Band:

A very pregnant MIA, Kanye, Lil Wayne tearing it up:

Paul McCartney with Dave Grohl on the drums for “I saw her standing there” which Stereogum described as “Coachella ticket sales soar, Ringo’s self-esteem plummets some more”

Al Green feat. Justin Timberlake

Patrick Says:

The Grammys decided to let their hair down a bit this year. For the most part the performances were pretty impressive.

As per Chris Brown, dude even if you get out of this with no chargers, you may find yourself struggling to find work.

I hated the way the guys treated MIA on stage…like she wasn’t even there and nine months pregnant to boot! Ugh.
