We have a pair of tickets to giveaway to the February 4th to the Retribution Gospel Choir show at Rock & Roll Hotel.
And guess where RGC is from?!?!?!
DULUTH, MINNESOTA.
Yes, the very same town made famous by Petey Pablo in "Raise Up".
You remember: Duluth, Minnesota/Come on and raise up/ Take your shirt off/ Twist it round your head/ Spin it like a helicopter!
Want tickets? Just tell me the rowdiest city you've ever been to....
God loves a cheerful giver.
college park is a riot!
Hey man, Suffragette City is a total blam blam. when i was there this mellow thighed chick put my spine out of place and she said she had to squeeze it but she.. and then she... and it was out of sight. it's alright.
but don't lean on me many 'cause you can't afford the ticket. There's only room for one and here she comes. wham bam thank you ma'am.
Varanasi India - just went there in November. there are cows, dogs, children, people, cars, rikshaws, tuk tuks, Tata buses, monkeys, birds, pollution and trash all smashed together on top of one another on the banks of a river where people are burnt and tossed in. All of India is crazy but Varanasi is a special kind of crazy. it's an assault on all of your senses, all the time. non-stop full time satuturation of sights, sound, smell, touch, taste, color.. everything.
runners up, Beijing and Rio
Bit o'FYI:
-Retribution Gospel Choir is a Low side project that just released a record on Sub Pop. It rocks.
-Last Tide (that's us) and Shapiro (also good) are opening.
-I wish the real David Bowie were coming tomorrow.
That is all.
Beirut, Lebanon...and Boise, Idaho

P.s. I am from Duluth, I love RGC. My best friend in high school went to the same morman temple as mimi and alan. talk about a rowdy time, have you ever been to a mormon temple middle school dance? well, you should.
Spread Eagle, Wisconsin
Glasgow, Scotland... rowdy binge pub style.
Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Though the cops in Norman, OK act like its a rowdy city so maybe that...
When I said tomorrow yesterday, I actually meant Thursday, or today's tomorrow. Confused? I am.
