Brightest Young Things

As we've written and shot Golden Filter before, and since they are back in town tonight (opening for the mighty Presets and then afterpartying with you) I was all set to do a little phone with the ever-so-mysterious duo yesterday over my lunch break but then due to phone disconnections and other things it did not happen.

Then, I was all upset for the whole of 2 minutes but then I decided it is probably for the best.
I mean, do you really want to read another "tell us what inspires you" interview with a disco band that doesn't even let you see their faces when they perform and who will only let you hear their one song until they're ready to let you hear their second or would you rather:

a. look at some awesome photos from their AMAZING photo blog (all members were photo minors in a past life)
b. listen/download some sweet tunes and remixes?
c. watch some sassy, charmingly lit videos?
d. all of the above.

Thought so.

Downloadage first:

Run to the dancefloor to the video for SOLID GOLD:

Embrace the photos:

I had the pleasure of DJing the Taxlo show they played and they fucking rule. Don't miss this.

They are indeed excellent. Simon from TAXLO was the first I knew on this particular train. They're like our own Little Boots. Check out the debut 7" on Dummy.
