It is the weekend after all.
But in all seriousness, the stream above is of the newly remastered Liz Phair classic which is to be re-released in June in a special 15 Year Anniversary of “Exit in Guyville” edition (age yourself quick: HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN IT CAME OUT???) landed in our inbox courtesy of our new favorite pr man: TITO! from BigHassle! and as such…HOW COULD WE NOT RUN IT?
For those interested, this is what the reissue will involve:

So get ready to get your angst on.
For a same sentiment, slightly different approach alternative, kick it with the Cassettes Won’t Listen version (i want a girlfriendx2) which is from their very excellent (and free to download) “ONE Alternative” covers EP which you should really just hopscotch and right click on RIGHT NOW.
Stay safe.
Unbelievably amazing album still. As jarring a listen as when it first came out. Try playing this back to back with Afghan Whigs “Gentlemen” and attempt to trust the opposite sex for the following week.

May 16, 2008 at 7:20 pmI just noticed that I misspelled my own name in my previous comment. I have reached a new low.
Still, I feel like taking a drive and singing Polyester Bride.
