Ready for some more Holiday/NYE themed music?
Is it screams of “NOOOOOOOO! NO MORE!!!!” I hear? But what if it was really good and only slightly festive and …REALLY GOOD?
Ok then.

A brand new song featuring a collaboration of several (adorable) DC musicians is ready for release on New Year’s Day! Attached is a pre-release, unmastered, media copy of ‘inamorati’ by e.l.m.s. The final mastered tune will be available to the public for free download January 1 at:www.mousybabe.com.).

inamorati is a 4-minute tune adorned with sleighbells, nostalgia and 4-part girl harmonies. Penned and performed by Susan and Emily Hsu (of the DC band Exit Clov), the song also features the voices of fellow district songstresses Laura Burhenn (ex-Georgie James) and May Tabol (Pree, ex-LeLoup). John Thayer of Exit Clov also plays percussion on the studio track. inamorati’s live debut took place at the Washington Social Club’s 2007 holiday extravaganza at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. Last month, Susan and Emily decided to hit the studio with Laura and May. Eamonn Aiken recorded the song; Devin Ocampo (Medications) mixed and mastered.
