Occasionally the 10 block radius actually manages to come up with something fresh enough to be psyched about, even on a school night. So, when Ris Richards ( formerly of DC local superhero band Q and Not U) got in touch with us about a (at this point sort of) new dance night him and his new project Bullets is throwing down every first Thursday at DC9 (which means this Thursday the 3rd) we jumped at the chance to revv it up a little. (bcse we are the revving kind) Rounding out the Bullets are Rah and Dave Nada, who after many years of playing in hardcore bands himself, in the last few months has (and DC should be grateful for this) started spending signifantly more time in the nation’s capital (appearing everywhere from Vegetate Wednesdays to Wonderland Ballroom to Starfkr to Room Service to Bliss) in addition to his Baltimore TaxLo residence.

What they do, they do well (some may even say best in the city), and so to mentally prep you for their unique mix of funk/dancehall/r’n'b/hip-hop/baltimore club/and just plain dance we figured, we’d hit them up for some exclusive mix downloads for all of you to enjoy and get ready to.
