80s heartthrob Corey Haim has died of a drug overdose (so predictable) in the same depressing apartment complex Rick James OD'd in 2004.
DAMN YOU OAKWOOD APARTMENTS!!!!!!

Corey was just 38 years young but had been involved in a struggle with every drug known to man since his teens.
Many people cite The Lost Boys as Corey's best film, but I believe that title goes to his comeback vehicle, Rollerboys.
And then there was one.....

God loves a cheerful giver.
Corey Haim was my first celebrity love, setting me up a lifetime of falling for the wrong guy.
Dream A Little Dream was a terrible movie. That's the last thing I saw him in.
But at least it was filmed in Wilmington, NC.
I feel strongly about this post for two reasons. 1) My stay at the Oakwood Apartments Shinjuku was FANTASTIC. It is centrally located near Shinjuku station and well appointed with a classy roof top lounge featuring panoramic views of Tokyo—there was even a fish broiler in my room! 2) This mind blowing PR attempt to show the world that Corey Haim was doing just fine (he clearly was not). In this clip he talks about looking up to John Ritter, mentions dolphins repeatedly, and JAMs on his keyboard.
Roger Ebert, on Haim: "He creates one of the most three-dimensional, complicated, interesting characters of any age in any recent movie."
The following two sentences are too sad to reprint, but let's all resolve to watch Lucas again.
