Remember how The Matrix came out and it was awesome, and then The Matrix Reloaded came out and it was cool but didn’t make any sense, but you knew they’d wrap it all up in the final installment and it would be even awesomer but then they didn’t at all and you felt angry and the Wachowski brothers were dead to you? I know, but give them one more chance with Speed Racer cause it’s so god damn cool and has the cutest chimp EVER in it (sorry Pankun). Anyway, I just remembered the intro of the original 1960’s Speed Racer cartoon has the famous Wachowski ”bullet-time” effect in it. I wonder if that’s where they got the idea from?
