UK-based multi-instrumentalist Patrick Wolf has just released his fourth studio album, The Bachelor, on the new NYLON Records label. He'll be putting on an intimate show at Rock and Roll The Hotel this Wed with a solid supporting lineup including Living Things, Plastiscines, and Jaguar Love. I go to your summer camp every weekend and have your website as my homepage. Additionally, I've dragged tons of friends out to events you've hosted because my faith in your taste is rock solid.

1. Patrick Wolf's "The Magic Position" is my go-to cheer up song. How can you not love the string section? And the toy piano?! He taught me to live and love, in the major key of course.
2. Because when people think DC is either a swampy, crime-infested hole, or a swampy, preppy-infested hole, I refer them to this website.
3. "A Drink A Day" encourages my alcoholism in a safe, comforting space.
