BYT’s love for “Love is All” runs deep and strong.
So, needless to say, we are thrilled that they are back in town tomorrow (with Video Hippos and We Fought The Big One DJs rounding out the excellent evening) playing the Cat, and hot on the heels of their oh-so-much-fun-covers-EP. (score Darling Nikki here)

Anyway, as is customary with any and every good show, we have a pair of tickets to give away and what you need to do to win is leave a comment with your favorite cover song.

(also I should win because it’s my birthday today)

June 10, 2008 at 10:07 pmI love the Flaming Lips cover of Knives out by Radiohead. I think anything by radiohead should not/can’t be covered because so many effects and such used, and it’s so great the way it is! The Lips really make it their own sound, and you completely forget it is a Radiohead song. Thanks to all, and I hope to win!
cheers!

Hmm, I thought it was Tilly and the Wall, but maybe it wasn’t. Anyway last year some time there was the absolute worst show ever at the Cat, and it was too horrible to imagine. It was like having to kiss your grandma or something, except it was 1863, in Georgia, in August, and she dipped snuff. And you had to do it with tongue.
And you would have gladly done it over and over again rather than see this show, which I thought was Tilly and the Wall, but maybe it wasn’t?
Anyone remember?
