For a band that’s been on hiatus since 2004, Moldy Peaches are certainly everywhere.
- “Anyone else but You” is on the (very amazing) “Juno” soundtrack
-Kimya and Adam were supposed to reunite on the Conan O’Brien show earlier this year but didn’t in support of the writers’ strike.
-The did however play on The View (read all about it here) on MLK Day when they guested with Colin Powell (!!!)
-and Kimya’s solo shows have been causing such a frenzy in New York that after selling out, petitions got passed, additional dates got added….you know the drill.
And now, Kimya makes another pit stop in DC, after her Crooked Beat super mobbed appearance a few months back.
It all takes place at the Cat mainstage, this Thursday.
Tickets are 12 bucks in advance/14 at the door and we have a pair to give away.
Just post a comment below with why you want them and providing no drummer falls of a ladder and hurts his back so the show gets cancelled (as was the case, apparently, with Caribou) you and a loved one can enjoy an evening of Kimya for nothing.

April 1, 2008 at 8:12 pmbecause my friend and i went to crooked beat to catch her live show and they ran out of space . it was freezing cold out and she was nice enough to sing some songs for us while we froze our asses off but now i want to be part of the real thing..
