I'd like to attend this concert because I work with one of the band members at Smithsonian Folkways and it would be great to catch some good live music in DC before heading back home!
I am the first person, other than her Dad, that made her sing in public for my 18th birthday present and I set her up with her first rock band in DC, the Rosemont Family Reunion! I would love the tickets!

I also think that I deserve the tickets because I’ve known her since I was 5. The inspiration for one of her latest album titles, Mitchell Williams, was actually our elementary school bus driver. Does this count?
