This Friday is another edition of Blisspop @ 9:30 Club. One that I am really really excited about. First we have a DJ set by Holy Ghost! who put out one of the best DFA singles of 2007 "Hold On". I've heard rumors that their DJ sets are great too. Second we have Mike Simonetti back again. Last time he was here we had a little party in the downstairs bar and like 20 people showed up and he played this set of obscure amazing shit that made you feel like a loser for not knowing any of it. Like every song was a "oh my god Mike is so much cooler than me for spinning this". My enthusiasm for this event is genuine, I'm not actually making any money, this is the coolest thing that has happened here in a while. Don't miss it.
