Ticket Giveaway: Fuck Buttons / Caribou

Ticket Giveaway: Fuck Buttons / Caribou

March 26, 2008 by Svetlana Send to a Friend Send to a Friend

Recent Pitchfork Best New Music Alumni (for Street Horrrsing, which we are doing a listening parteeeee for later this week) and (more importantly, at least on this block) my MP3 picks for this week Fuck Buttons are coming to town!
With our perennial favorites Caribou!

(whose Andorra is so good, I sometimes cannot even deal)
This Sunday!
To RNR!

It is going to be magical!
No, seriously.
Magical.

And to boot, we have a pair of tickets to giveaway!
Because going for free is better than paying!
(or so they tell me)

So, just comment below and they could/would/should be yours.
Amen.

We’ll be picking the winner on Friday, so if you don’t hear from us via email by noon, you did not win!

I am too lazy to buy tickets on my own, so I just keep entering your ticket giveaways. Reward my bad behavior with free tickets!

I only need one ticket as well! And I won’t be able to go see Jens Lekman later next week (despite already having a ticket). Indeed, you can reverse my bad luck.

Free tickets would be tight, although slightly less tight than my budget right now.

Sweet Jesus, I just downloaded Fuck Button’s Street Horrrsing off of Emusic and am only two tracks into it. WANT.

Indeed, quite right. Says:

I’m looking forward to the listening party, because from what I’ve seen/heard of Fuck Buttons so far, I really don’t get it. “Bright Tomorrow” sounds like Moby having a nervous breakdown.

Of course, I already have tickets and I’m keeping an open mind.

I’ve been stuck in a depressing cubicle all week dealing with mean people and a free show (this show!) would rule the school.
Thank you.

Well, it is the day after my 30th birthday, so what better way to celebrate being an old man than seeing a rock show where one of the bands has the word “fuck” in their name? To hell with old age!
