Easy as always.
This is MY favorite Donna song:
And….In case you were wondering what she has been up to lately,
here goes:
Donna Summer released her new original album in 17 years, Crayons , last Tuesday, May 20th. Adding another accomplishment to her list with the success of Crayons, the album debuted at #17 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart making it Summer’s highest debuting album ever.
Donna Summer is the only artist to have had a #1 charting dance hit in every decade since the 1970’s. “I’m A Fire,” the first single from Crayons, rose to #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Charts making it her 13th #1 single to top the club charts and her 19th #1 charting single across all charts It also debuted at #5 on the Billboard R&B chart – another personal best.
Dig it.
the best Family Matters episode is when she cameo’s as Urkel’s aunt/cousin, i forget
so BYT does giveaways for Pier Six shows?

I will post the applicable portion of my semi-drunken e-mail to tips@BYT last night:
If she would make surprise appearances at dance parties instead of playing fucking Wolf Trap she would have people in ecstasy, even WITHOUT performing “Love to Love You Baby.” She is my queen, and I will love her until the day I die. Wolf Trap was full of geriatric season-pass holders who didn’t dance.
Can’t use the tickets, but I highly recommend the show. Her voice has not changed one bit.
