In what is proving to be a big week for Scandinavians in DC, The LK (formerly known as The Lovekevins) are arriving to kick off their US tour with a DC show on March 8th at the House of Sweden (which, as you know, is always a good time).
This will coincide nicely with the US release of their "vs. The Snow" album (out on kora records) that has had everyone from Spin (..."a brilliant fusion of electro-pop and a languid, Kings of Convenience-like vibe") to us drooling all over it.

is Fredrik's mom's favourite LK song. It features a sample from a very famous french singer who won a pretty famous music contest in Monaco in 1965.

Yeah, OK, I'll bite. I like the couple songs that I've heard and am going to a wedding at this infamous Hizzouse of Sweden later this summer, so I'd like to check it out.
I'm there but some insurance against the infinite queue witnessed at the HoS Afterhours party would be nice. Plz.
Hej Minger - if the first show sells out, there will be a 2nd at 9pm, so that should help with the line issue. I'd suggest lining up early if you want in on the 7pm.
well, it ain't exactly sweden, but a swedish band at the house of sweden will give me my fix of scandinavian culture...man i really need a fix..................now, about those 2 free tickets?? tack!
