Welcome to the (sort of) new and (definitely) improved BYT!
Poke around, enjoy some new stuffs, our more user friendly interface and whatnot else and tell us what you think.

May 2, 2008 at 9:13 amLime Green! Go away! Go away Now!
May 2, 2008 at 9:39 amOh, and as author of an article that spawned a City Paper cover story I think my name’s missing off the list of “contributors.”
Ohhh I’m such a -bitch- this morning.
May 2, 2008 at 9:40 amSorry Michael - that’s my fault. The list is auto-generated, we’re going to re-work it to be totally inclusive…launch-day flakiness is all, don’t read anything into it ;)
May 2, 2008 at 2:08 pmI liked it better when I was on the contributors list sans Michael - just saying.
I actually think Michael should have some category all to his own.
May 2, 2008 at 2:37 pmkudos!
May 2, 2008 at 2:39 pmso do you know when new comments are posted by having to remember how many comments were posted when you posted yours and update accordingly? cause that looks/sounds like too much work, and all i see is a counter under each article on the front page
don’t care for the added scrolling feature, like it better when you didn’t have to scroll intrasite, just via the browser
and i have to highlight BYT Recommends at the bottom of the front page in order to read it, odd
May 2, 2008 at 3:05 pmIt was just constructive feedback… Kind of.
May 2, 2008 at 3:27 pmMichael should be listed under “Ombudsman.”
That is all.
May 2, 2008 at 4:54 pmI’m gonna miss those Alphabetical Order ads.
May 2, 2008 at 5:51 pmwhere do you get your fonts?
May 2, 2008 at 10:43 pmyup, we’re losing the scroll too, bad idea -
May 3, 2008 at 2:05 amgood times
so admin = Cale?
Looks like the intrasite scroll is gone already. Good call.
May 3, 2008 at 1:30 pmOk, now the BYT redesign, sans extra scrolling, is awesome. And I am telling. Rad job!
May 3, 2008 at 4:28 pmadmin = jason
May 6, 2008 at 5:35 pmI liked it better when the “previous features” column was a stack of graphics w/o the text links in between. the scrolling thing’s been mentioned once or twoce already so … otherwise, very attractive redesign & the wordpress upgrade is really helpful. koods.
May 7, 2008 at 2:12 pmi liked it better without scrolling within each article
within the browser is enough
thanks
Ok, that’s it: we’re adding more scrolling.
May 7, 2008 at 3:38 pmHey, this place is awesome except for the scrolling within articles thing. Who ever said Frames were a good idea anyway?
May 7, 2008 at 3:40 pmAren’t they sweet? I’m trying to think of how we can incorporate more scrolling…
May 7, 2008 at 3:50 pmLet’s make the site only 10 pixels by 10 pixels, then we can scroll everywhere! I just google imaged “Scrolly the Scroll Bar” hoping someone already did the photoshop work for our new mascot.
May 7, 2008 at 4:01 pmsomething-something “Ninja Scrolls”
Assemble your own joke here.
May 7, 2008 at 4:10 pmFREED FROM THE CLUTCHES OF THE SCROLLS!!!! OH LORD HAVE MERCY!!!!!!

Enjoy your wide open spaces.
May 7, 2008 at 7:24 pmthank you, Jason!
May 7, 2008 at 7:29 pmHey can you put them back now? I kind of miss them.
May 7, 2008 at 11:58 pm

Looks fantastic — still BYT, just tidier. AND I like being able to see the number of comments left per post. Tells you what’s firing up - or not. Nice job…
