September 26, 2008 at 11:58 amThe quickest way for a reviewer to cause me to click their browser closed is to toss an offhanded bust on a movie I like into a unrelated review. Not that it’s indefensible to dislike Darjeeling Limited…I thought it was great but OK many smart people didn’t like it. But to toss in a “oh hay btw lol DJL suckkked NEwayz back to teh other thing” is so condescending and cheap and annoying I just automatically discount the rest of the review faster than I can hit eject on an Aronofsky “film.”
Not that I want to see Choke. Angry white boys are so 90s.
