Rise & Shine: The Internet Told Me So…

  • At first I thought this was a children’s video, but by the end of the first verse I think it’s about actually fucking fast food- as in making sex with fast food, getting turned on by fast food, or using fast food as a sexual enhancer. These performers must be victims of human trafficking because no one would do this if they still had free will.

Just a note: Those who could potentially carry in Arizona establishments that serve alcohol first must go through the rigors to obtain a concealed carry permit. Second, they can’t drink while in the bars if they are carrying, and third, the private business owner can make the final decision on whether someone with a permit, carrying a gun, who is not drinking, can even enter, which is how it should be.

If someone is carrying a “concealed” gun, how can the bar prohibit them from entering or drinking when they don’t even know that he or she even has a gun?

Michael Says:

By posting a sign on the establishment. It’s called the honor system. While the bar can’t “know” someone with a concealed carry permit isn’t likely to do anything to jeopardize losing it since it’s a hella process to get one in the first place.

People with those permits have to go through tons of paperwork to get one, and be approved by the gubment. They aren’t going to run around showing off their gun and using it to break up bar fights. Some people, contrary to belief, do act like adults.

Right, because the honor system is flawless. Let’s use it to allow people to carry hidden guns into a bar. A sign should absolutely do the trick. Good call, Arizona.

Just because people have to fill out “tons of paperwork” doesn’t mean they won’t have a moment of weakness and act like idiots when drunk and packing. I’d wager that most will use the right irresponsibly, instead of responsibly under those conditions, in fact.

And many many people, contrary to your assessment, don’t act like adults. I’m sorry but they just don’t.

For the record, I’m pro-gun. I was glad when the Supreme Court overturned DC’s ban on a person’s right to own one, but I think there should be reasonable limitations. Not allowing anyone to carry one concealed, for example, is a start. Another would be to not allow people to carry one concealed into A BAR.

I’m more worried about the guy without the concealed permit carrying in a bar than the legal registered gun owner with a registered gun, with his fingerprints on file, with the gun registered in his name on file. YMMV.

And when THAT guy pulls his gun acting like an idiot, I’ll be glad when the legal carry dude pulls his out and shoots him in the noggin.

P.S. pull up all the incidents where concealed carry permit holders have acted a fool with their firearms. I’ll wait.
