another horrible story about overpaid union metro personnel
these people sit around, don’t do much and get paid more than you can believe, i think 60k+ for driving buses, 70k+ for driving the trains (which drive themselves via computer, they just open doors and announce), and 80k+ as station managers
metro should cut their pay, advertise every inch of the station and subway and sell official metro merch to the daily millions of tourists to subsidize their costs and not increase fares until they’ve exhausted every last avenue of revenue
