Is the JOI Filmography event for real or is it in (finite) jest?
I feel like I (and everyone else who read that book) had the idea to create the films described in DFW's footnotes. It makes me happy that some people decided to do it. IJ should be required reading for existence.
I won't go just in case they managed to recreate the samizdat and I die there watching the film over and over.
