HWGM brings their classically repetitive spacey rock to the Rock Hotel this Saturday. Their Stereolab-meets-Animal Collectronica could function nicely for the soundtrack to one of your more genially surreal dreams...the kind that nobody, not even your girlfriend, wants to pretend to be interested in, yet that makes you feel wonderfully different when you wake up remembering it.
Like the one where a bear works at my local coffee shop and he refuses to accept payment in acorns.
Or the one where I'm a barber and all my friends are clients. My office is on the space shuttle and I put the hair up in picture frames around the office when I'm done. The office is otherwise decorated like my sister's middle-school piano-teacher's house.
Even I'm a little bored writing that one down, but it was quite comforting at the time.

Dreamed I was hot air balloning with the smurfs. Dream was in color, but switched to black and white immediately before they pushed me out. Now I never trust smurfs.
One time I dreamed I walked downstairs and my girlfriend made cupcakes.
i was enlisted in the army but they kicked me out because of i suffered from SFS (spaghetti fingers syndrome) and couldnt hold weapons. they left me in a desert where i wandered into a sand castle. a beautiful girl welcomed me in and we ate sand-whiches. such an odd dream...
